Rugs on luxury vinyl plank

I know there are several discussions and lots of different opinions on this subject. I'm worried about staining or causing issues with our Coretec LVP. I plan to use Rug Pads USA vinyl safe pad. My question is, if a rug has a solid cotton canvas backing, but may use latex to attach, is that a concern? Obviously it shouldn't be in direct contact anyway since using a pad, but would prefer to steer clear of risky materials nonetheless as there's always a bit on the perimeter not on pad.Coretec just says to avoid latex, rubber, and silicone, and I take their info with a grain of salt anyway based on experiences I've read here. It's difficult to even get a clear answer on whether the cotton canvas backing uses latex from most of these companies. West Elm, Boutique Rugs, Wayfair, etc. Hook and Loom advertises latex free but haven't found a style I like. Thanks in advance for any and all thoughts/opinions/advice.
