Boo! My daughter's nickname. One I've wanted but never got around to ordering. I've got an awful lot of oldies. Mostly noids but a few have names. I've got some honey glazed, gypsy queen, faustine, flavacens. Things that stand up to winter. I've got more but I'm not much on lists or plant markers. Bigger iris are just starting to bloom. Oh my gosh. My order from Rockytop just arrived in my afternoon mail. First off I was surprised at the really big box as I had only ordered 15 iris and that included the 5 Special Bonus that you qualify for when buying anything else. I bought 4 of their 2010 intros- BLUEBERY FUDGE MAGNIFICENT MASTERPIECE BEVS BABE BACKDRAFT Six others of various year intros- POLESTAR CABERET ACT DONACHCLONEY FABULOUS ONE MAGICAL REALISM PERRYMONT I got 6 extra special bonus iris even thought I only qualified for 5. He had told me they were out of the first i choose so I picked an alternate. But both my original choice and the alternate are both in here. I have- LAKE TANEYCOMO ROYAL VESTMENTS MACHERALON JAMAICAN BREW SURFERS DREAM BEWITCHING HOUR Then there are 8 more bonus iris. I haven't even gotten a chance to look them up yet. I have only afew and I mean afew single rhizomes and those are quite large. Many doubles and those are larger than other places sending singles and almost as large as the singles. Then some are triple rhizomes and some clumplets were they are all attached and some have even more babies coming out of the sides. Also large. Not like he needed to send the doubles or more bewcause they are small, they are not small at all. So now I know why he needed the really large box. I will be taking pictures of some of these and will have more to say about all the extras. I am simply astounded at what I recieved today. Just unbelievable. You couldn't do better. I have never seen anything like it. Just past fabulous. I am really happy to say the least :-))

Hello ladies, Sorry I've not been a very good host. I've been real busy with working both of my jobs, running to Greenbay/Wrightstown, Wisconsin to pick up Shelby's and DeAnna's two Boston terriers to babysit while they are celebrating the start of Shelby's 7th year being in remission on the beaches of Antigua. I love helping them out but I must admit driving to Ohare airport was no picnic. Thank god for the GPS system that a friend let me borrow. Needless to say I will be buying one very soon, and without it I would have never made it through Chicago or the Port of Milwaukee. On a second note, on my return trip I have figured out how to avoid the bigger cities when setting up the GPS. I can't imagine what the wireless world will bring us Ten years from now. Marea, I'm sending an e-mail your way. Debbie, remember what I told you about sending to me. YOU ARE NOT TO GO OVERBOARD! I will be working on your box just as soon as I get back from Green bay/Wrightstown on the 9th. This is my only day off and the two little devils are no help in the garden at all. All they do is whine, cry, bark and go from window to window while I'm out side. I can hear them fussing all the way out back with the windows open, and this drives me crazy. I sent you some daylily seeds also; saw on your trades page that you were getting started collecting them. There is nothing better than going out in your garden in the a.m. and seeing a daylily bloom for the very first time anywhere. Hope they turn out beautiful for you. You should store them in the veggie bin and plant in peat pots in a sunny window in Feb. or you can wait and plant them directly in the garden in early spring. Sorry these Iris are a little dry. When I dug up my clumps last month for trades my back started hurting soon after; so these have been sitting around waiting for me to get them replanted. You saved their lives!!! LOL They are dry, but not nearly as dry as the ones you buy in the stores. Don't you dare feel terrible about Jennid. It's my fault!!! Being a newbie I was just so anxious to get my new treasures I didn't wait long enough before contacting you. As we all know.....nobody's perfect; and I'm certainly not... by a long shot. :) I'm sure Jennid has forgiven us both; she is a really sweet person. Roxanne
