I've got a rhubarb division. Its not real big yet but you should get a small harvest from it by next year. I would like to trade for a blueberry plant or cuttings. on your page you indicate that you have some. Let me know if you are interested.

Smart idea to google that. I tried finding pics, but you out-Googled me there. :) Oh man! I'm pretty sure that I did them upside down. I have NO idea how I did that. These crowns I bought over the internet and looked really roughed up although I should know better as I've been growing them for 10 years myself from seed and divisions. I guess I better put aside an hour and get it done. Thanks for the info!

Agree. Even years-old crowns, when transplanted, require at least a year to get re-established before harvesting. That's the way gus works. And even then it is a limited harvest. Buy 2 yr old crowns and plan on store bought gus this year and next. Dave

Spring, as soon at you can get them in the ground is the best but both work. I just packed 90 crowns away for the winter, (true, just walk in from doing it) which I will plant in the spring to replace old plants which died off, it's a old patch. I can't comment on buying crowns, I never bought them.
