I've got a rhubarb division. Its not real big yet but you should get a small harvest from it by next year. I would like to trade for a blueberry plant or cuttings. on your page you indicate that you have some. Let me know if you are interested.

Best guess not deep enough to avoid freezing. What is your normal frozen ground depth? 2-3" anyway I'd guess. Mine never freezes here but I suspect yours does. Next best guess would be insufficient water. I have to keep mine well watered year around but we don't get as much rain as you do - normally. This year is an exception. What and how often did you feed them? I give mine a late fall feeding of a couple of inches of composted manure after trimming the ferns and then again in early spring. Dave

You're welcome. Please don't disparage yourself. Gall is an "ever present danger" and something to be aware of. You won't know unless you ask and experience it. Sometimes you can extend the life of a plant by finding a gall early enough to remove enough of it before it chokes everything off and kills the plant. I've had some last many years after removing the gall as it was starting. Some seem to not recur while others seem to just keep coming back. It all depends upon a number of factors. You will learn and stop worrying about worrying. Cut yourself some slack and have a good weekend!
