owbist, Yes, I was trying out Notepad and some of the other notepad-type programs. But I gotta tell ya, I really like the auto-correct feature of Office 2007 programs. I tried installing "autohotkey" with autocorrect (which would work with Notepad, et. al.), but that was a headache and a half and I still haven't gotten it to work correctly. (Plus, its autocorrect list is nowhere near what Office's is.) So, I thought, why bother with smaller notepad-ish programs when I've got Word sitting right here ? (Oh, FWIW, I did find that a lot of others have complained about this formatting issue, but all offered 'fixes' didn't solve the issue -- or if they did, Word did not remember across sessions. But I did discover that if I single-space everything -- instead of creating double-spacing between paragraphs and headings and such -- the document will paste correctly into a webmail. So I may end up experimenting with it that way.) :-/

you mentioned a reg cleaner are your meaning a registry cleaner? if so I highly caution you on that, I personally urge not using them, they are not needed and can cause serious harm when not used by those fully versed in registry. If you have not updated and run a full scan using malwarebytes then I would do that to make sure you do not have malware on the pc running and slowing you down. Install malwarebytes free, update it before using it each time then run full scan and allow it to clean what it finds, usually have to reboot. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware since you mentioned facebook and it is notorious for infections I would definitely run malwarebytes regularly and also one of the online scans. ESET Online Scanner Make sure your windows updates have all been done up to date and so has your antivirus updated.

Did you report it? I always scan my junk mail folder on Hotmail because I have the filter set on high, and when I come across those, I always report them as phishing scams. It takes just a click or 2. I've had a few in the last week pretending to be from accounts I have, common to many folks, but the sender email address is never right, and the URL that appears when I mouse over the link they want you to click is never anything close to correct for the company or account. I always scrutinize those 2 items nowadays. P.S. Is that really the case w/ topic titles? I had not noticed. P.P.S. Wow - just checked and it is true! That's weird.

Oh, I even forgot about haiku. That language's totally amazing! Maybe one day and I'm gonna start learning it as the Portuguese. It changed my daily routine. I had to attend a particular course until I found these basic words in portuguese. I'm glad that I didn't miss that opportunity and took it. Right now, I'm at a reasonable level, and I can start talking free in portuguese. One year of work is worth it.
