Thanks Dottie! We are traveling- to our future home in Traveler's Rest SC. We recently bought 7 acres of woods, and we're going to spend a couple days planning homesites and surveying the timber. We plan to leave much of it woods, as it is all nice hardwoods, with no brush or vines. Of course, we have to let a little sun in for the garden! Thanks everyone. The little tree is a palm seed frond, if that's what you call it. I've had the idea for years to use these dried seed fronds as Christmas trees because of their shape and finally did it this year. I glued little blue glitter stars to the tip of each branch and decorated with found bits and pieces of shells and coral picked up on our local beach. Bought the star fish though in a little shell shop that has been in the same place since the 1950's. Merry Christmas to all and a great 2008. FlowerLady
