Utility to shut off gas 4 meter reloc. Do FP pilots have to be relit?

Our utility company is shutting off our gas service so that our meter can be relocated from inside to outside. We have 3 gas fireplaces. I can see the pilot lights in all 3. Recently moved in and never used them, although I know they turn on and off. Photos below.

I plan to have an NFI or HPBA certified specialist come out to inspect, service and tune-up the fireplaces after the holidays. However, the utility’s contractor is coming Monday to do the meter relocation. They said they will thereafter relight the pilots and check for leaks.

Question: Can I forgo having them relight the pilots for the 3 fireplaces and wait for the fireplace specialist to do it during the upcoming service visit?

Thank you for your help!
