help with hardware selection for master bath, please! (x post)
Comments (8)Doing a quick search I could not find what I'm seeing in my mind's eye ... but I'm thinking crystal pulls with nickel accents, but mostly clear crystal (or glass). This isn't quite it, but close. This one is more old-fashioned, so not exactly what I have in mind, but again, I really like the elegant clear pull with the polished nickel small accent. I have to go to sleep so I cannot search anymore, but I hope someone pipes in with something delicious for you!...See Moredoes anyone feel like helping me w/ master bath hardware selects?
Comments (12)i found the mercury glass knobs on amazon. they came six to a package; with shipping it came out to $6 a knob! i actually had my eye on them for my closet, so if i don't use them in the bathroom they'll go there. and breezy, i also thought about the MOP knob but decided against because i thought too matchy as well. -and then i moved on to glass or crystal and decided they would be lost against the dark wood. i think the mercury knobs will work well. we'll see! elle: thank you. the floor tile is some kind of italian porcelain i picked up from best tile. ditto for the shower walls, except it's a crackle tile that doesn't need to be sealed. never saw such an animal, but it's smooth and the crackle finish is much slighter than the usual. i would have carried the marble over from the vanity top but we have well water....See MoreMaster Bath walk in shower tile selection help.....
Comments (1)I like plain 12 x24 porcelian tile for the main bathroom floor and the shower walls. Not sure what you mean by pony wall and where that will be .If you post a floor plan you will get much better help. an 8’ shower is IMO too big to ever warm up in the time of a regular shower. What is the wood look tile for? Where are you planning the accent tile to be? I need to see a to scale floor plan with maybe on just the fllor plan and the other with what you are planning.Mark all windows droorways and the plumbing at least for the toilet unless you are planning on moving that , which BTW is expensive . Mark all measurements clearly and I suggest you use graph paper it makes scale easier to do. As for all the tiles you have posted please label them as to where each will go. What I see of the bedroom looks very rustic , is that the look you want for the bathroom, maybe post pictures of the bedroom since IMO the 2 spaces should be in the same general style....See MoreReno of tiny primary bath
Comments (3)It was a cute vintage look Before, and I also like the sophisticated After. The floor tiles are very pretty, and the frameless shower glass makes a huge difference. Love it!...See MorePaul F.
