New HE Laundry Detergent called Laundry Dropps
Comments (11)I would like to hear how well these pouches work and how well the detergent can be rinsed out of the clohtes. Their web site says that the pouches give just the right amount of cleaning...something like that. How do they know how much detergent I will need for a small lightly soiled load? How about a large load that has heavy soil. You surely don't need the same amount of detergent for both of these types of loads....See MoreHave you tried Rinso Brand - Laundry detergent
Comments (16)No problem. I justused the figures from above. Probably the best deals I've ever found on laundry detergent was when Arm & Hammer would be on sale, rebate and get a coupon. This was years ago now which is when and why I started using it. It was free after rebate, limit of 2-4 jugs usually. Then if there was a coupon for it, that took care of the tax. A few years ago they had a brand called Spring. No coupons but free after rebate, then 99¢ after rebate. But after about a jug and a half I started itching from it so I gave it away. Then last spring I got some Tide coupons, coupled with a sale price made it cost me the sales tax. With that, 32 loads for 36¢. Just over a penny a load, and I only use half the recommended amount so it's better yet, plus my clothes have never been cleaner and without having to use additives. But those deals don't come everyday. Course when they do I get as many as I can. Doesn't bother me to stock the shelves and/or give it away. But that's why, to me, even 10¢ a load looks spendy!...See Morelaundry detergent properties - **MOVED TO LAUNDRY FAQ**

Comments (49)Roc, I'm in a small country town and the old sheets sell at thrift stores mainly to the underprivlaged...most people around here would walk past the sheets thinking..I don't want someone else's stinky bedding LOL. Ebay often has a ton of old sheets, but they might be pricey. Personally I don't mind paying for good quality American made sheets even if I have to subject them to torture to get them clean. I recently felt a set of sheets at Bon Ton and looked at the edging..shoot they wanted 140 $ and that was on sale, I wouldn't have paid 10 $ the edging looked like something I would do nowadays with my crooked fingers, LOL and they had a underlying roughness...I pay 30 $ for the twin size at Target without a sale and their much better made than Bon Tons over priced, rough bedding. Roc, I love Target but I'm glad its an hour drive from me or I'd be there often when I can't afford to. I was there yesterday and finially got the Mrs Meyers Lemon Verbena FS..haven't used it yet so no review yet lol. I do plan to order more Vaska lavender laundry detergent tabs as I did end up enjoying them on towels....See MoreGreg Smith
