Here is another one. Actually, they have tables as long as 110", but all are 39" across, you would still need to remove some inches. The two shown would allow this due to the type of base. I think this will be very tough to find in an online vendor, if not impossible, since 3x5 and 4x6 are the common sizes you see. If it's a rug with an all over pattern, and not with a border that would be affected by cutting down, I'd probably buy the 4 x 6 and have it cut and bound locally, after sending a link to it to a local rug cleaner who does that service. Rug cleaners in my area do repairs, sizing and adding fringe, as well as binding.

I have modified Ikea cabinets about every way you can just to see if it can be done. And the answer is - "yes it can be done." But that isn't the right question, the right question is - "should it be done?" This looks like 50 dollars of effort for a 2 dollar return in my opinion. When you start modding cabinets you exponentially increase the risk that something is going to go wrong, or that you are not going to be happy with the results, especially in a remodel situation where the walls may not be true, and this is where a few good spacers make things work well. I think that the 1" spacer on the left is going to cause you problems, after handles you have almost no clearance and I bet you are going to end up with dinged doors. You have good sized drawer bases now (two 24" and a 36") I just don't see that much gain from another 3".

Putting in a band new kitchen and can't find anything to compare the prices that the kitchen place is giving me to, so I am wondering if I am being ripped off here or the prices on cabinets really are astronomical. Examples: trash pullout cabinet for 2 50-qrt cans: $700 9" spice pullout: $600 Cabinet company being used is Fabuwood. Any input on this is appreceited. If you've recently put in a new kitchen please let me know what the prices per cabinet were. Thanks so much!
