This plant in an overgrown yard has these ~3" teardrop leaves. What is it?

My first thought was Syringa - Lilac.

Each leaf has 3 leaflets. I don't have a clue, but only thing I've seen like that is wafer ash, and I doubt that's it (wafer ash is quite rare).

Horse chestnut Aesculus hippocastanum. But I wouldn't describe the flowers as yellow. Creamy white with pink stamens. Here is a link that might be useful:

I'd guess Sedeveria. If so, it's etiolated but you can grow a fine specimen that way if you want, more of a dangler. They fall over in tons of light eventually anyway.
