Comments (9)oh Ann, we just returned...I am sooooo filthy and tired! But we had a great time! Scott has to leave for a bus. trip so he had to get back and do the lawn and take care of a few things before he goes... Soooo, we were pretty bummed leaving behind all of our fun and were sooo excited to see a big package on the porch when we got home! Will was especially sad and let me tell you - the ingredients of the package brightened his mood considerably...:-) I have just finished pics (had to find the camera - the van isn't even unpacked yet!) and will work on my description - is the suspense building???? Thread will be posted soon! Stacy...See MoreHow embarrassing What a dork I am!
Comments (26)Hope your nighty wasn't see thru.LOL I answer the door in my nitegown but mine are flannel.BUT nobody ever sees me without my teeth, even DH.I take them out only when i get in the shower, and as soon as i get out, putting them back in is the first thing i do.Even when i have surgery i make the dr's promise me that someone will put them back in as soon as the surgery is over, and so far they always have. My summer nitegowns are all cotton prints and not the ole lady type prints either.I sew so i make all mine and use pretty cottons and even put side pockets in them,so if i need to i can just slip on my bra and wear them as a dress. As for my hair, when my feet hit the floor in the morning,i put on my glasses, run the brush thru my hair ,then go in the bathroom and do everything else. Hope he brought you nice gifts, and didn't have his video camera going!! LOL,LOL Kathi...See MoreEmbarrassing nosebleeds
Comments (39)I DID IT guys! Thank you so much for suggestions to see an ENT. I knew nobody who had actually gone to an ENT, so I relied on Healthgrades, which is like medical Yelp. I picked the highest scoring guy and was not disappointed. Dr told me he could easily see exposed artery inside my right nostril and proceeded to cauterize right then. I believe he used topical anesthesia and then froze the artery w/liquid nitrogen, I think. He was excellent at explaining what he was doing. I came back home with OTC Afrin, saline and Vaseline. Post procedure discomfort would be comparable to how tender your nonstrils feel when you walk out into very cold temps. Not pain, just a little discomfort. Today, 24 hrs after procedure, I feel nothing. It felt good to do something about this and that my most serious medical procedure has been a nosebleed cauterization, praise God. PS: I think the scariest part of this procedure is the term cauterization. It conjures all kind of pains in my head, ha. Not so. again, thanks to all who volunteer their experience on various topics. I would have gone on embarrassing myself out of lack of info....See MoreBunny
