The Shape of Things to Come
Comments (4)Really snazzy looking as well. Three wheeler? They've been around a good while and make mileage sense. The old Plastic Pigs of G. B. could get 90 mpg decades before hybrids. My SIL's mother used to drive one. There is actually one three wheeled car produced back in the infancy of automobiles........see link below. Have you beat, however on mileage on a mode of transportation I used to have, and may be obliged to put in to use again if fuel continues to soar. not much for speed, but recycles bio fuel, lol and gets unlimited mileage and you only have to change models once every twenty five to thirty years. Here is a link that might be useful: Three wheels, two horns, one of a kind...See MoreGood Things Come in Small Packages!
Comments (6)Scott- isn't there always more :-)) There is more than 1 bloom. No way to keep something that small in focus. I chose 1 bloom. The details were a complete surprise. They can't be see with the naked eye. It's a "Scott & Kevin" type of orchid... :-) Thanks for the inspriation! The plant is a young mini- it produces multiple pendulant flowers. The individual buds are smaller than a masde. This is her 1st bloom. I also discovered through photos she has a microscopic keikei. She is slip potted in a votive candle holder. I may have an even tinier "Itsy Bitsy" soon...Buds are just starting to open. Another pendulant. Individual buds are smaller than the little "c" shape of the denudans.. It looks striped but I won't know for sure until I get a lense on it. Scott- Take 2 off your list! ;-) This year my photo themes have been focused on "The Classic Beauties" The year to come, "Elegant Extremes" Clara...See MoreThing that alerts you when car is coming ...
Comments (19)Our unit is from Smarthome (console with 200' cable and probe). I don't know anything about the wireless units. Do not bury under the drive but to the side and be sure to mark (or measure)where the probe is located for future reference if something happens. If you plan to add an irrigation system or you digging for landscape, you may want to buy 8' electrical conduit and place the cable inside the conduit. No need to glue; just buy the conduit that has beveled ends and put them together as you run the cable through it....See MoreThings are Shaping Up in New Garden Design
Comments (12)I felt so bad for Hubby digging that stuff out. It had grown very large which is what I wanted but I didn't think about if the septic needed work done on it. I wanted that front yard cottage country look and didn't think of function. Why they had to put the damn thing right in front of the porch is beyond me. The tank is in the front and then there is a lift station to the side that goes out to the mound on the side of the house. We have clay soil that doesn't perk so that was our only choice here. Yes, those are just concrete stepping stones. Don't get me wrong, I think marble would be divine, but people in Hell wants ice water, too. Speaking of stepping stones, what's up with no round ones anymore? I can't find them anywhere. And that's not the only thing I can't find that I want. I think the brick and mortar stores will be a thing of the past in another 10 years. They don't carry any inventory anymore, people are ordering everything online. We're still living in the dark ages here, not trusting of putting our credit cards out there online, and besides, I want to see an item for real before I buy it. What are all us old f#^%'s gonna do when there are no more stores??...See Moreperen.all Zone 5a Ontario Canada
