Just in the early stages of planning a remodel and only know I want white cabs and a whitish stone that isn't marble.Love it, but too afraid of the etching and staining. The Macabus is looking promising, but not sure I want something that linear. Will check out the crosscut. Never seen Danbury in person; yours looks beautiful. Gigi, what is your stone? Thanks Sammy and JuneKnow. They have already cut the countertop (they came to install it, but one of the cabinets is damaged and is getting replaced first...in some ways we were lucky that we got to see it before the install). I am hoping the issue is they did the wrong mix/quartz, ie the Montclair White. It's shocking how different both design and color are from the sample. I'd expect that with granite, not quartz. The back of the samples say there may be "slight variation", but is representative of color and material. We've paid 50% at this point. Ugh. Missing having a kitchen sink!

Agree with ci_liantro...while the counters aren't perfect, the backsplash is particularly egregious. It infuriates me how builders simply do not stand behind their product knowing that most of us don't have the energy to pursue them in court. I hope you can get them to replace the backsplash because that's just not right.

They oversold. There is no vein matching in sintered. Your husband needs to get used to it. Their offer is much too low. If I collected 50% on a job where the customer was unhappy, I'd be grateful.
