I have a couple of rugs from Stroud. It’s been a few years but they were fantastic to work with. The rug I wanted made was different than anything they had done before (each side was a different color). The sample they sent was like that and turns out it was a fluke, but they made the large rug I wanted just like that. They texted pictures to me along the way and communication was fabulous. I would definitely recommend Stroud. All products are made right in North Carolina. Turnaround was quick.

Oh, what a beautiful room! It has a very ethereal look about it. I actually really like the gauzy-like curtains you currently have hanging. And I agree that an Oriental rug in this space would be wonderful - perhaps in soft peach, cream, and green tones.

This is what i might try a square rug that is placed in the space between the stove, the counter, the yellow line i see on the floor and the wall. however, I would experiment with arranging the furniture like this Push the left half of the modular sofa into the corner. Turn the other half of the sofa so it directly faces the wood stove. Bring the pieces of the modular sofa close enough to each other that you are left with an empty square in the corner where the counter meets the wall. Arrange your tables inside that squar, and plan to put a plant in there as well. Or a two-headed floor lamp. i think i would might buy a black and white rug for that space. An indoor outdoor rug might work best.

We accidentally flooded the house earlier of this year and had all flooring and bottom right kitchen cabinets replaced. They aren’t a perfect match but they’re custom built and wood and the others are builder grade so the wood stains differently plus there’s a 15 year difference in matching. Now that’s explained, I feel like this area needs a rug. What do y’all think? I’d like something washable. I like the idea of the Ruggable Rugs but don’t know how they hold up. I also prob need one under my table. I’m not the best at picking out prints. Can you guys help me out?
