Favorite lip balms

Are they all alike or are some preferred. i do not have dry lips so have never bought them

this would be for teen girls so maybe there is something popular out there that they all like.

anyone know what teens would prefer.

Burt's Bees!

I like the Pomegranate which has just a hint of color. I don't wear lipstick or gloss, but this punches up my natural color just a tiny bit.

thanks for the good lip balm tips, i've made salve but never lip balm even tho i sure want to try it.....am inspired by your suggestions! do you recommend buying the tubes for lip balm for just using small salve jars? (i already have small salve jars but would have to buy the tubes)

I have some scuffs from the installer (he wouldn't rip out the boards and redo since he said he wouldn't have enough wood, even though I saw it during install, not after floor was totally done). Even have some pencil marks - the pencil apparently dented/scratched the finish where he had to mark for cuts for floor vents. Tried touching up with marker but wouldn't "take" - guess it's not entirely through the finish? Too shallow for crayons. I'm afraid of sanding since he didn't leave any scraps for me to practice on. They're prefinished Bellawood, with aluminum oxide finish. Any suggestions?

The only preservative I use is a couple of drops of Vitamin E oil. (It is an anti-oxidant and non-toxic in small quantities.) As for my recipe, my base is equal parts (by weight) shea butter, jojoba oil and beeswax. Jojoba oil is know for its long shelf life, which is why I use it.

Burt's Bees has cute holiday gift packaging with different flavors which would be perfect for a teen girl.

I personally like Fresh Sugar advanced therapy but it's pricey.

@lisaam , I don’t think it has a coconut smell. I have a serious aversion to coconut, so I think I would have picked up on it. It has a slight cocoa butter ( chocolate) aroma and a faint whiff of vanilla initially but they dissipate quickly.

If this is just for chapped lips, I love Blistex in the blue tube, plain jane. If it's for a gift, I'd go with something nicer such as the Burt's Bee and now most of the cosmetic's company have a balm such as Cover Girl and Maybelline. I once got a free gift from Sephora of the Fresh Sugar Lips and wasn't impressed for the high price it sells for but it was fine. Wet N Wild has a balm that I recently purchased at Dollar Tree that I found to be comfortable on my lips and it has a scent and flavor that was fine but I prefer unflavored for myself. My lips have a tendency to have an allergic reaction to balms but I was not allergic to the Wet N Wild or the Fresh balm! I cannot wear the ELF balm, it chaps them.
