Paint suggestions for Master Bedroom
Comments (3)Wander over to Home Decorating the Gallery. (link below) Then click on the thread for favorite Greens and take a look. I think the Saybrook Sage is a lovely color. I don't think any color will still be your favorite when it's time to redecorate in a few years, but greens are certainly timeless. I have several in my home. The Dove White is great for trim. And you might check out Home Decorating discussions to ask for more help. Comments (16)We used a BM Affinity color called Spa in a small bedroom-turned "office" (in Aura, matte finish). It's a very soothing green IMO, but I might have been influenced by its name! It's a soft green, and I think it's "matured" into a really nice color over the past 6-7 months (for awhile there it was looking a bit minty during some parts of the day, but it's mellowed very nicely)....See MoreNeed color and placement colors to paint master bedroom
Comments (2)I’m not a fan of focal walls that are a different color, but if you want to do it, the wall the bed is on usually is the focal wall. Can you post of picture of that wall to see if it’s a suitable candidate? You have a lot going on with the other walls with different heights, ledges, vaults, etc. maybe not the best room for two colors. Normal photos, no panoramas, it’s hard to tell what we’re looking at with a distorted photo....See MoreSuggestions for paint color in master bedroom?
Comments (2)I keep reading the trend is away from grey and toward beige/greige, but who knows. If you are keeping the pink in the bathroom, grey would look nice with it. Are you getting new bedding? I recently saw a color by SW in a friend's house, called Queen Anne Lilac. It was gorgeous and may go with your shell pink. Hard to say, though, without knowing exactly what pink you used. The photos I've seen online of Queen Anne Lilac look a lot more grey than it did in person, and now that I look at your photo again, it might be too close to what you currently have to be a significant change....See MoreDC Reno
