The middle of an upholstered chair seat does not have a frame--it's a deck of some kind of springs and webbing--, so the frame would require a certain amount of modification to attach the base of one chair to the other. I am not sure you could make the new work strong enough to hold everything together. It would be easier to put casters on the queen anne chair If the ankles of the leg are thick enough to drill into for the shaft of the caster. This could also split the leg.

Pesky, great job. I love the fabric, it's very pretty. Of course Max knows laminate is the coolest thing for a pup to lie on. I had a couple of my planks on the floor and all the cats wanted to sleep on them. LOL You did good!!

I couldn't settle on one because my very favorites (urbane, artsy, books) lacked a serious work desk, but the one that lingers appealingly in my mind is instead the little wallpapered room covered with cerise roses on (?) brown, black? Good grief! :)

The taped out grouping looks very lopsided to me. Is it the camera angle? Guests will sleep more securely and get better rest if the bed is situated where they can raise their head and look directly at the entry door. If everything can fit, I would move the bed where the ladder rack is, and put the desk where you now have the headboard. This will enable you to leave space for getting behind the bed to clean and to make it up. The longer length of wall between the door and the window wall will make it seem more roomy. You can then put your diplomas and shelf on that wall, with the shelf hung 5' above the floor. Place the ladder rack left of the window. Use inside mounted shades or blinds so your pretty window frame will show; your paint colors are great!
