I used Aquamix Enhance and Seal. Miracle and Stone Tech also offer sealer/ enhancer combinations, as well. If you'd rather not enhance it, then Aquamix Sealers Choice gold would do well, as would miracle's 511 Impregnator, and Stone Tech's Impregnator Pro.

Thanks Bill. The next question is in the shower where the crema marfil 12 x 12 tiles are (ceiling and walls) does this need to be sealed? The border in the shower has the 6 x6 tumbled which I know has to be sealed as does the tumbled 4x4 floor. Which bring us to the vanity top. I have purchased Stonetech BulletProof to use on the entire vanity. That is what they suggested at the tile store. (And no the tile store doesn't carry it! I had to go to another store.) I guess I worried about so much of the other details I forgot about sealing!!! I had planned on doing the vanity myself. However the tile man thinks he should do the entire thing. I need to decide to seal or enhance the tumbled marble before anyone can do a thing. Do you seal ceiling of crema marfil? Again thanks.

You didn't say what type of stone your border is, and I'm not sure if it's in the bath area or on the floor, so I'll just tell you what we did, and show you a picture. Hopefully that will help you. I had read from the pros in the forum, that Miracle 511 worked well, so that's what we used. I bought the enhancer/sealer as well as just the sealer impregnator. I called the Miracle 511 customer service and was told we could enhance and then seal, but not seal and then enhance. So before grouting, we applied a coat of the sealer/enhancer and then grouted. Our tile guy did NOT clean the tiles thoroughly enought and grout got caught in the clefts, which he cleaned off, then we applied a 2nd coat of enhancer sealer and 2 or 3 coats of sealer impregnator after that in the shower. I'm getting ready to put some stone mosaic listels in my kitchen as a blacksplash......105 to be exact and they are quite expensive.....I received them and they don't have the sheen that the sample had........I was told to buy some penetrating sealer and it would give them the low luster, yet deeper color.......well, it didn't....I've been looking for info on the web and read that I should put an enhancer on it first.....well, I've already done the sealing.......I only tried one listel so won't be out too much money.....oh, I haven't put the stone on the wall yet........so, what steps should I take before starting.......I did plan to seal all the mosaic before attaching them with a mastic.....I'm using mastic because this is going over paneling......but I was also told to buy some uniflex and apply to the walls first, since I painted the paneling with kiltz (thinking that I was doing a good thing).......the mosaic is called river rock colombia by interceramics........thanks for your help...didi_2007
