Need help with exterior design!!
Comments (11)I also agree no shutters. You can't fit one on the left side. If the right side of your house was bumped out a little bit you might be able to do them on that window. I think your windows would look really nice with wide trim. Can you do that while you are residing? We have SO many houses in my town with brown roofs and tan siding. It's very dreary I think. I love the cheery yellows with white trim. A slate gray would look nice too. This picture shows both a yellow scheme and a slate gray scheme with brown shingles. http://fredgonsowskigardenhome.com/2011/10/19/picking-the-right-paint- or-siding-colors-for-your-house/ This is one of my saved houses. Comments (14)I don't mind the garage color as is. It matches different colors in your stone. I do like BeverlyFLADeziner sample. I'm trying to mimic it but i'm having a hard time. Here's a try- Here is the same color but with matching garage I don't mind the original garage color. I have the same color brink on my home and our siding is a very light tan color....See MoreNeed help with exterior design
Comments (12)I would buy your house in a flash as is, and the only things I would want to immediately change are instantly getting rid of the 4 carriage lamps (round globe lights might be fun near the door , but I think I would do flowers or art rather than lighting at the street level). Second thing I’d want to do immediately is something different with the left window.. I’m not sure what. I wouldn’t paint the brick but I would paint the siding and the concrete (not necessarily the same color). Then after that I’d possibly paint the metalwork railing upstairs as well. I’d have loads of flowers and trailing vines coming from the upper railings, New Orelans style....See MoreNeed help with exterior design ideas for this 1977 2/2
Comments (16)@gardengrl66 z5 thanks for the comment! My wife and I have a ton of plans and dreams for the back yard! We would love a few raised garden beds, a deck, grilling area, and maybe a nice fire ring/pit section, all though we only get a fee months of fire weather, but, we will see (it is miserably hot 9+ months a year). As for the inside, ill def add photos, but we simply have a small living room as you walk in the door, to the left is a hall that leads to the 2 bedrooms and a single bathroom. Then right past the living room you walk directly into a small dining room that is connected to an old galley kitchen. In the kitchen is a door that leads to the one car gagrage, second bathroom (this was an addon years ago and was made as an accesibility bathroom for the orginal owners), and a small, but open laundry area. We aren’t exactly sure what to do with the layout, but luckily there are no interior walls that are load bearing, so we can essential redesign the full layout, budget allowing....See Morecrawford316
