Holger Bach, i did search for those discussions on here and read every comment. unfortunately most comments are like yours, blanket statements without examples of first hand experience of this particular model. Also, the main thing I was lookign for is pictures to see how the different panel colors look with different cabinets, counters and appliances. as far as longevity, I've done plenty of research on the more expensive brands that are recommended here and they have plenty of problems too. The main reason im considering the Bespoke is that i have kids yhat will quickly destroy a SS fridge so i need the option to replace a panel when it gets damaged. spending 6000 or more on a fridge that might last linger but will be dented and scratched doesn’t sound like a good deal to me.

Samsung might make good tv's but I would never buy another Samsung refrigerator. We had a french door model we bought for a basement bar, and it needed major repairs within a year and a half. And I believe it was close to $3500 at the time. Never again!

CR tested many refrigerators ($10/month digital) including a number of Bespoke models. The problem with its French Door refrigerators isn't so much with performance but with reliability. However CR surveys showed bottom-freezer models to be reliable so the 12.0 cu. Ft. Bespoke Bottom Freezer Refrigerator might be an okay choice if that's the type you're looking for.
