Black or oil rubbed bronze for kitchen hardware

We are doing a kitchen remodel and I am deciding on kitchen hardware finish. We are going for a modern farmhouse look. Kitchen island is a moss green with butcher block top. Perimeter cabinets are white with Cambria Crowndale quartz (has warm creams/beiges and a hint of green). Faucet is brushed nickel. Lighting fixtures have black and glass.

I like the warmth of the oil rubbed bronze, and prefer the look of these over the matte black. I don't mind the black though and I know that these are more in style right now. Would the bronze look outdated, or not go as well with the rest of the room?

Would love some thoughts! Thank you.

Matte black fixtures may be trending now but a few years down the line they may go out of style. The oil-rubbed bronze is a timeless look, and it seems you're leaning toward that one personally. With all the cool white and grey tones you'll definitely need some warmth, so I'd say the oil-rubbed bronze is the way to go.

The kitchen isn't up yet, but here's an image of what it will look like. Obviously we will not have the gold hardware that's in this image. Our chairs are also different than this, and we will have a black buffet against the dining room wall.

Is there a reason to buy the hardware before cabinets and counters are installed... then you can buy a sample of orb and nickel (... or, and chrome) hardware you like, and hold them up to your cabinets in your kitchen to select the finish you like best with your other choices? we spent a week or two at the very end of our remodel opening the drawers and doors from the edges (without handles/knobs/hardware), while we ordered samples, picked our final hardware from the samples, then waited for the whole kitchen hardware order to be delivered. It was not a big deal to use the kitchen with bare doors for that time...

the finishes are fine[if that's what you like]. However I think the dimension and shape of the hardware in the kitchen ,[ in this picture ] are not great with your specifics. Keep the gold hardware, if you desire.....but at least reduce the pull size: generally seek a softer/different scale/shape. These are too modern, and others are probably available. there are more warmer finishes to choose from, which means more configurations.

Why not do black instead and if you were my client I would have tried very hard to steer you away from black appliances all from one maker.

My first thought is also brushed nickel. Dark colors against white really call attention to themselves and that's not what I would be looking for in a cabinet pull. However, as long as you have definitely decided on a pull style, if it comes in multiple finishes buy a half dozen in a couple to try (as long as they're returnable). You just want to be sure when the holes are drilled that they're going to be right for whichever pull you choose. Knobs are straightforward but there are a lot of different pull sizes.
