Comments (14)Did something similar when we sold our house in NY. Had a lot of bathrooms which we never did anything with. House was built in the 50's but was contemporary design. Huge windows, vaulted ceilings. We redid the powder rooms and the master bath but really skimped on the other two full baths. One of those bathrooms had a green tub with green double sinks green toilet. The other bathroom had a blue tub with double blue sinks and blue toilet. Both had some sort of plastic sink countertops. I hired a company who painted the tubs white. Changed out the toilets to white and put granite counter tops. We changed the sinks to white. Painting the tubs was not very expensive and really looked good. I bought the countertops and sinks from a small store which was selling the top/sinks on sale as floor samples. I really got a good deal and had our handyman put them in. I painted the walls. Both bathrooms had original floor tile which I left. sort of looked retro. The green bathroom had small green floor tile and the other had blue tile. Bottom line, both bathrooms looked updated and really nice. Comments (1)I am worried about that shower drain. Is it oversized to work with two shower heads? For that matter, did you upgrade the water heater to handle both being used at once? Lots of hot water will be needed to keep bathers warm with the upen shower if tyou have winter where you live. It is a nice update that gave you larger shower areas. More modern colors do look nice....See More
