This wildflower around ~2' tall with bright yellow, half dollar-sized flowers was found by a park. Is it Viguiera dentata var. dentata, or something else?
Viguiera dentata var. dentata
Helianthinae, Heliantheae, Asteroideae, Asteraceae, Asterales

There are no other varieties and type species is Viguiera dentata var dentata, so adding the variety name isn't neccesary.
Thanks! So, I wonder why they even bothered to to add a variety, if there is only one? WTF?
And, off on a tangent...but does anyone know how long it typically takes for a prairie wildflower bloom to go to seed?
