Comments (1)Where do you live? What kind of grass are you planning? What size hose do you have? The answer is usually either 5/8th or 3/4s. And what lengths of hose? Diameter and length make a difference in flow as does pressure. I can have 4 outside hoses running and barely seed a pressure problem. What kind of sprinkler(s) are you using? Is there much shade where the grass is going? Pictures are nice....See MorePanic! Please Help! UGLY Floor problem. Need a solution.
Comments (13)If it makes you feel any better, most of us have been disappointed in choices we made. It can also take time to adjust to change. So take a deep breath and know this problem can be resolved. As has been suggested, the first step is determining if you actually got what you selected. Did your contractor, for financial or other reasons, install a different product than you selected. Assuming you got the right flooring, do you want to pay from your own pocket to change it? Don't need to decide this right away. Next, can you make what you have look better? Changing your light bulbs or wall paint is an easier and cheaper way to update your bathroom than replacing the flooring. Comments (7)Our cabinetmaker advised us to do flat trim in a similar situation because it's really hard to hide that with crown. (Fortunately that matched our house stylistically anyway so we were good with that.) His alternative was to do a multi-layer crown where it would be complex enough that you would lose sight of that variance, but since we didn't go that route I don't remember the details of how that would have worked (except it cost a lot more). It is definitely noticeable to anyone looking up into that corner, but with the flat trim he just scribed it to the ceiling so the piece gets bigger as the ceiling rises. The other option we had at the time was to skim coat the ceiling and try to build it closer to level there, but decided it wasn't worth the cost....See MoreRelated Professionals
