Comments (1)Check with the Antique Roadshow website. It would depend on type of paint, signatures, etc. How close are you to a large city where their are several dealers you can go to. Comments (2)Moss rose has been made by many makers since the early 18th century. Early makers were some of the Haviland/Limoges potters as well as early English potters. It was made in porcelain as well as ironstone. Your set is much later and, as you see made in Japan. Comments (1)Do you have a photo? Servicemen brought or sent a *lot* of beautiful china tea sets to the United States from "Occupied Japan" after World War II. My uncle sent them to all 8 of his sisters & both sisters-in-law & his mother! My mother (an in-law) got one with gold & silver-gray flowers, & my Granny got one with evergreen trees. If you held the tea cups up to the light, you could see the imprint of a geisha in the bottom.
