Brushed nickel finish that won't leave water spots?
Comments (4)I think brushed nickel is very good about not showing spots. I have a Jado faucet, in BN, in the master bath. Almost two years now and I've never seen a water spot. Surely it's there, but can't seem them. Like skippy05, I also chose something easy to clean. Also, my Venetian bronze (by Delta) kitchen faucet is really REALLY good about water spots. Occasionally I'll see a white spot on it but it's soap, not a water spot. When something is easy to wipe clean, it usually get's cleaned more often :)...See MoreAnother soap dispenser posting
Comments (14)Kathieo, I hadn't been back to this thread -- sorry. The Whitehaus facuet sis automatically switch to stream again when we first got it, but it stopped. I would prefer it that way, and it has done it again a few times, but it's not that big an issue for me. I may ask the plumber about it and see if there is something that can be replaced easily while we have a couple of other things done in a bit. I like the look, feel and fit of the faucet too well to get hung up on that minor point. Ours does seem to go back up pretty well. I do notice that if it isn't put back straight, you might need to turn it a bit or it will fall down a little each time you turn the water off. That has happened mostly with the boys using it, but I think they have it down now. I do like the way the Graff soap dispenser works with the faucet. I posted on your other thread -- I have the model 9921 instead of the 9922. The difference is a little more detail that I thought went well with the faucet. We have it in polished chrome at the main sink and brushed nickel at the prep sink. Love them both. We've nevr had to prime the pump after the first filling and no drips. Good luck resolving yours....See MoreDo you love your soap dispenser?
Comments (23)One came with my Delta faucet and we liked it well enough but it suddenly stopped working after about 6 months of use. I emailed Delta and they sent a replacement even though I had long since lost the receipt, but I bought another from Amazon in the meantime and we liked it so much more. It was metal, which the the Delta one was not. It pushes much smoother also. Sorry for the long URL, it's not letting me put it in the bottom for some reason. http://www.amazon.com/LDR-551-P1200SS-Dispenser-Stainless/dp/B0009VJGC8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1372256285&sr=8-1&keywords=soap+lotion+dispenser...See Moresoap dispenser with neck longer than normal?
Comments (9)Hiya Fly, The - I used to have this one. Cotswold Kitchen and Bath used to show it on their site but don't seem to have it there any longer, but I'm sure they'd tell you about it if you contacted them; since it is a mate to the X-trend faucet which is still going strong, I'm sure it must still live. It was truly great and worked well for a good long time. Unfortunately, because we'd put in the X-trend faucet and accompanying soap dispenser about 2 or 3 years before we did hte remodel and therefore had to disconnect the two, the dispenser never did work that well when reinstalled after having been disconnected for the 4 or 6 months it was disconnected during the remodel. I loved the long spout and so put up with the somewhat hesitant performance until it became quite dysfunctional. I looked around for another sleek long necked one (it had to play with the long necked faucet which was still going strong of course) and the best runner-up I could find was the dispenser. I strongly considered getting another Xtrend dispenser but I figured that since I was needing to replace, I might as well try something different. The KWC dispenser looks a bit more squat than it really is because of the less than ideal perspective on it. Sorry about that, but while its reach is definitely less than that of the Newform, it is a good 2inches or more into the sink. You can surely find the pictures online but I thought I'd link to my pictures so that you can see the comparison in scale between them. I'm not sure but I think hte reach of the Xtrend one was 5.5 inches (from the center of the pillar) while that of the KWC is 3.5 inches from the center of its disposer pillar - I just measured....See MoreChristopher Sosa
