No to blue with that stone.I like the dark brown with thestone so I would probably do a dark brown window not black then a nice warm crean that works with the stone for siding color. So a bronze for the windows and the cream for the siding and I would choose new garage doors with some glass in a cream to match the siding . The add some color with landscaping and a new front door maybe a nice deep brown / red . I see your windows are reflecting trees is tah window film ? I love solar shades for controlling heat and UV they allow you to keep the view and on cloudy days can be rolled up to allow as much light as possible I would BTW choose the garage door first then match that for the siding since a steel garage door is poder coated factory finish and much better than a painted one. Maybea nice bronze arbor over the garage doors to tie it all together

You can't just ignore the Tudor details on the house. I would select a two color paint scheme to highlight the timber design.

I had never thought of this home as Tudor Style but I see what you mean now. We will likely go with one color or if we do two tone it would be subtle. The home currently has two tones of brown - it’s a bit hard to see.

Since the stone is staying you don't want to drift too far away from it when choosing the paint color. That's why Celery suggested Grecian Ivory, and the other commenters are suggesting bronze, not black windows. Black windows would not look good, and I also don't think you can use gray or blue on the body because the stone doesn't look gray. Maybe up close there is some gray in it, but most people will be looking at your house from a distance, so you want to be complementing the overall color of the stone from a distance. Your roof looks brown also, so if you're not replacing that you need to keep that in mind. I think if you were to use the ivory or something similar it would be quite a different look than what you have and you would like it.

Thanks for the advice! The roof is actually cedar shake shingles. You are correct the stone doesn’t really have any tones of gray. Good point!

I'm going Swiss influence with the batten trim or as the architect calls it "stick" trim. Looks good with black windows and would look even better if the roof was the color of yours.

Guessing the siding might be B. M. Silver Sage.

Many houses in my neighbourhood (including mine) have warm-toned stone similar to yours. Be very careful with your paint selection. There are many examples in my area that look bad. mainly because the colour is too intense or too clear. For example, something that looked like a warm cream on the colour chip, turns out to be yellow.

Paint big sample boards and look at them at different times of day.
