Im in N. Texas, we have about 3-4 weeks of growing left before a hard freeze.
I have lots of tomatoes on my vines, (Roma and Beefstake).
The are all green.
The past few seasons, as soon as they start ripening, they get eaten up by varmints (birds or rats).
I am thinking I should just pick a bunch of green ones and hope they ripen. What do you guys suggest?
