Wood Flooring Help With Leaky Kitchen Aid Dishwasher

My 5 yr old KitchenAid dishwasher was installed when we built, and now has a leak in the diverter putting out a small amount of water underneath. We have developed a slow leak under our island which has caused an area of cupping of our wood floor. Our flooring installer has said they won’t know if the wood will return to its original state for some time until the moisture levels decrease. We have fans going and live in the north so humidity will be lower before long. Would you recommend consulting a company that deals with water damage? If the moisture is removed more quickly, does that increase or decrease the likelihood that my flooring could improve?

Thanks Everyone!
