Thank you so much, zep, for the McAfee removal information. My daughter was able to totally remove McAfee. Here is what she stated: This worked! Sleeper, just to expand on what Tamara has told you (I know some of our KTers have had trouble finding their way around) Hover your cursor over Your Houzz top right, then move it down and click on Edit Profile. You may have to sign in at this point if not already signed in. Advanced settings will be on the left, if you click there you will be at a page where you can uncheck any notification boxes that are now checked, and change the other options to Never. Let us know how you do....

Sherry, I haven't been here long enough to notice whether I'm seeing all the notifications from things I've commented on. Either that or I'm just forgetting what I commented on. You can go to your profile and check your own activity and see anything new. Sherry and Ali, I have noticed some very rude comments on here by a certain few. Many, sadly, are by "pros". I try to tell myself that I'm reading them with the wrong tone, but after reading many comments from the same people I'm not so sure that's the case. They seem to think my way or the highway. Think how boring the world would be if we all had to follow one set of "rules". We'd live in a world à la Stepford.

YES! At the moment I *supposedly* have 162 unread messages. They've been showing up 2, 3, 4 or so at a time for a few days and when I look they are all very old messages that I've already read - but 162? And on top of that 5 thread notifications. Wish they'd get their sh*t together - I'm kinda busy here!
