Can you take a painted sample to your slab to see if you like it? I think TM works with most whites except for really bright cool whites. SW pure white is warm so I think it should be ok. Your slab is gorgeous! Good luck!

Changing the cabinet color would require also changing the trim/wall color also (I’ve wanted them to all be the same). I agree it’s not life and death and never said it was. But $10k isn’t a small sum of money and it would be much bigger than $10k so the comment isn’t super helpful.

Thanks Lynn Lou! Yes I am going to compare the slab and will bring the samplize sample tomorrow. I think I just got overwhelmed with all the white today but it will look different with wood floors also.

I have SW pure white paint in my bathrooms and it’s a beautiful warmer white. I think it will look fab!

Verbo. Super helpful once again 🤣 I’m looking for someone who has actually experienced the situation since I am just in the middle of it and haven’t seen it together. Clearly a solution is paying more money. That doesn’t take an experienced designer to tell you that.

It's a proprietary cabinet finish, similar to White Dove but with a little less warmth.

We used BM Chantilly Lace with Taj Mahal in our kitchen. I tested all the whites and have large windows that face north in sunny FL. The Chantilly Lace was the sample that stayed white and bright in my space, while the other whites didn't.

Used the same Chantilly Lace on all my trim, doors and ceilings.

The walls are now BM White Dove, which is a warmer white and goes well with my furnishings, art, wood floors and stained beams.

You will be fine!

If you find things too white once you move in, all you have to do is repaint the walls in some of the rooms. I had picked a darker color to begin with, done by the builder, and have done my own repainting with the White Dove ... I'm not young anymore and my walls are 10 - 12 ft high, so unless you have a physical disability, it can be done DIY by the average person.

Just went through my kitchen Ideabook and I had this one saved that is supposed to be SW Pure White for the cabinets and Taj Mahal counters. The backsplash is from Tabarka.

Agreed. We've measured the colors of both Taj polished quartz and Madre Perola and they have nearly identical hue families.

I am about to do the same thing. How did your pure white cabinets turn out with your Taj Mahal? I have Drift of Mist walls but wondering if I need to go a little warmer than pure white. But i love pure white and it is my trim color all over my house
