What kind of bug bores into tomato stems?
Comments (0)So I had some tomatoes that were in containers and they start to wilt, didn't think to much of it, but then they never recovered. After pulling them tosay, I noticed a couple bore holes in the stem. Who's the culprit?...See MoreWhat kind of bug is this?
Comments (5)Most ants are fine as long as they aren't farming aphids. If you see dont aphids and sticky mess leave ants alone they just crawl around. Spiders are awesome. Fire ants on the other hand, are total buttheads who like to make baby nurseries in my pots. If I water them enough, they go away. You will know if you have fire ants if you get near the rose/pot and get bit a zillion times lol....See MoreWhat kind of bug is this?
Comments (17)I did a google image search for aphids, and there are some that are black, but from what I saw, their body was a totally different shape. I'm not convinced they're baby crickets, either! The pics that Mike Kelly posted look like they have a hard skeleton, where aphids are soft..??? Sucking insects like aphids do leave damage on the leaves, and with that many I'd expect to see many tiny holes in the foliage. I don't know.......See MoreWhat kind of bug is this?
