I would be tempted to do a grey the same value as the blue. Curious what the pros will say. Pretty tile!

I would try to get a lighter blue, that is in the same color family as the tile. If you cant, then I would say gray. I agree, its a beautiful tile.

Depends on if you want a graphic look or not. If so, match the white of your walls. If not, try to get a slightly lighter shade of the same blue, if that's possible.

Mapei makes a blue gray called Rain that might work. I think a true gray would work too, especially if you could pull out some of the gray from the counters. Definitely test colors, though. (Same for your backsplash tile--there are a lot of variations on white!)

I used warm gray w/my shower tiles. (both the white and the marble niche)

It's a perfect neutral.

If you like Custom brand, Try the Oyster Gray or Natural Gray if you want darker.

darker gray you'll get this look.

Always do a sample board w/scraps and a few choices, but this is basically what gray grout looks like w/blue tiles

We have light blue penny tiles in a bathroom. I'd originally picked a light grey grout, but got a panicked call from the tiler saying it looked really bad (he was right). He ended up mixing a custom colour that is a fairly dark grey just this side of black. I like the look and also the fact that it hides the dirt better than the light grey grout in our other bathrooms.

Those are quite a staement , what was the reason behind the choice? I dislike hex tiles and in a kitchen even more than a bathroom . IMO get a custom mixed matching grout to tone those down as much as possible . I would have chosen blue counter appliances and a much more neutral floor.

In the Custom chart I would test Ocean.

How did your project turn out? I'm looking for grout for my green hex tiles for my kitchen, and am leaning toward a mid-tone gray. I LOVE hex tiles - yours are beautiful!
