Can I seal dock pier before lake fills back up?

I just added on to my 10-15 year old fresh water dock. The existing wood is in good condition so I'm keeping the joist and piers.

I wasn't planning on sealing my new wood since it's ground contact pressure treated yellow pine, is this okay or do I need to seal it now?

Can I seal the existing 4 piers before the water fills up? If so, what product can I use to protect the wood and not harm the aquatic life since it's just a little pond (6000 sq ft).

The pilings are ground contact (4# pressure treated I believe) and not marine grade (6# pressure treated)? What would you treat them with?

The tag says the 4"x6"x12' #2 0.15pcf micronized copper azole compunds . I didn't even think about if there was marine grade 4x6, did I screw up and use the wrong pressure treated post?

That's my question "what to treat them with" or if I even need to? I figure the new piers are good for now but it might be good to seal the old piers?

This little pond gets low every year or so, so I can seal them if need be later.

We have an upright freezer, and I have been married to an engineer for 38 years, so our freezer is ORGANIZED! The top shelf is for breads, biscuits, muffins, and herb butters. Second and third shelves are for vegetables in reusable plastic containers that are labeled with contents and date, and stacked in rows. Fourth shelf is for meats, also wrapped and labeled and dated. The door shelves are for nuts, berries, prepped vegetables like chopped onions. If "digging" were the way I found things in the freezer, he'd divorce me (no, he wouldn't, he'd just organize the freezer for me.)

You drawing of the lot shows your deck over the property line, why? Any time you deal with making changes to a structure near a property line you want to make sure to get it right. Otherwise you run afoul of a lot of potential hassles. If you're going to overhang the deck then why not just make it squared instead of the angled shape shown in the drawing? That and the pictures show none of the wrought iron railings you mention. You'd do well to discuss the hangers and materials with the piling contractor. When they mention 16" finish height, are you sure they don't also mean the railing?

You are close to the coast and have a three foot water table? Definitely hire an engineer. There are many things that can go wrong here. Think carefully about drainage, about where the water would go if you get a hurricane during a high tide. Water has to go somewhere, you want to direct it through. The advantage of piers is if you do them right water can go under the house. The disadvantage is I can imagine all sorts of problems with ice in a cold climate. Plant a lot of shrubs that send out runners along the coast for erosion control. See if you can get permits to put boulders on the beach to break the energy of waves.

Congratulations on your new home! When I moved into our new build I bought cabinet liners from Amazon. I don’t have a link for what we bought, but there are several reasonably priced ones on Amazon. Ours were flexible and I’m guessing they were silicone, but can’t be sure. They kept all my cabinets in great condition And were easy to clean. The rim kept any small spills from overflowing. The brands I saw were Weather Tech and BASIN.

I would check with a marine lumber supply to see what they offer that is safe for below water.

So far it's a bust. I cant find any sealer to treat the post that will be below the water. They are good for now I guess. Since the lake does good down with a drought I can always put a form around them later and fill with concrete.

I treated the older joist with BEHR Solid Color Waterproofing Stain & Sealer.
