How did the county know the property was split, wouldn't they require a copy of the plat showing the now two pieces of property? The county doesn't look at the plat. It uses the legal description in the deed. Without a deed or a court order, the property doesn't transfer. Surveys aren't always done, and when done, aren't always recorded. Locals rules may vary on this, of course. Someone wrote a legal description of the property to be split off. If it wasn't taken from a survey, the description may be faulty. You can have a faulty legal description corrected, but it is an extra step, and someone may contest it. BTW, if there is no current survey, the title insurance you receive will not cover boundary disputes.

Changing the fresh oil change after a good warm-up and seeing no metal had me feeling better. Cleaning the drain pan and about to put fresh copper cuts back in the pan got my attention. I feel that was copper in the pan vs bronze that appears as cuts from a hacksaw vs wear. You live and learn! Zooming and looking closer I feel the color dictates copper. I’m feeling a Little Better. LOL! I know I need to slow down and focus more per task vs too much Multitasking with too many projects and needs going.

pulling out old posts with their cement base was a bear but we're done. DH didn't want to just bury them and then hit them with equipment and ruin equipment, much later when all was forgotten. We went to a cement recycling place in our county. its a large lot with mountains of diff. sizes of crushed concrete. As we were dumping our cement bases, there was an enormous jackhammer breaking down what seemed to be an old concrete slab. very interesting. free. for fence postings, you must cut off wood part or wont be accepted, which we did we will live with it for a while but already liking it a lot so doubt we will refence.

Thank you everyone! I agree that some of the questions are weird. Some of them weren't her doing - the professor suggested they use prevalidated question sets where possible, so the science related questions came from an official survey question set used by other researchers. I thought those questions in particular were weird and had a hard time answering them. The mask question - I agree it could be worded better, I think she probably meant when you were going to be around people not if you were just in your car or out in your own yard or whatever. But she can't change the wording now without invalidating all the responses so people will just have to answer how they see fit. I guess if she were an official survey writer, they would pilot the survey on a test group first to get feedback like that, but because it's a class, I guess this is part of the learning experience. Anyhow, thanks again for taking the time to help her -- as of last night she had over 300 responses which is awesome!
