It doesn’t look like there is much room at end of sectional. More pictures of total space would help. Art over sectional a must with a couple oversized pillows for sectional that pick up tones from art.

I need to see more of the LR for sure and please include the TV and stand.

Not a fan of your wall color with that gray sofa and gray dining chairs. Go with a brighter white in the living area and maybe paint your dining room a darker, cooler color like a deep blue. Then get a rug with more color in it and get some throw pillows that pick up those colors for the sofa. As was previously mentioned, get some artwork for the walls.

i would expand the sectional a little bit more closer to the door so the chair and table do face the back of it. Or maybe get an armchair to pair it like a florence armchair. i would also recommend a bigger table too

Ok so I went to your page to see if you had any idea books, then I found your other post. Stating you where taking down that light fixture. Here I see a rather large dining table in the photos. I would not buy that.

The first picture you show a squarish table and the rest of your pictures show a small round table. Which do you have? If you have a round table in the living room, where is the square one? Also I would put a stand under your TV. It is too high and maybe too close to the couch.

Move sectional at least away from walls. An arc lamp on either side of sectional set up would help. Simple drapery panels in neutral tones. Add color with wall art, pillows and vase. A green plant and dining chairs with new chandelier is good way to update and help warm up the space.

since they are removing the existing light I thought then they could slide the sectional over a little more as well as the table, then swag the light over, at least get the sofa centered between the two windows on that wall.

I understand you're on a budget but since it seems you've spent a good amount on CB2 furniture so far I think you should have a long term plan for finishing you living/dining room.

You can look at Ikea for curtains and rods for excellent pricing and good selection, they also have inexpensive feather cushion inserts and covers. Amazon has some nice looking wall art, pendants, and different accessories such vases and cushion covers as well as some small furniture pieces such as end tables.

In your picture, the paint looks very glossy, ceilings should be a flat finish and walls a flat or eggshell finish. I suggest the wall to be in soft white (not a stark white) so go with your gray sofa and other furniture.

Your natural wood coffee table doesn't seem to go with your new dining table so I show a black metal with white top (to go with your white glossy TV unit).

I would reverse your sectional so that it doesn cut the roomin half and the ottoman, although occupying the space, is low so not bothersome. Also by reversing the sectional you now have room for an end table and lamp.
