I love all your choices. It will be a beautiful room! Love your front door too. I saw your other post about your new chandelier. It will all go together perfectly. I think I would do a cream linen drape the color similar to the chair fabric. I'd do a dark rod and use some dark furniture pieces in the room to balance the lightness. Have you ever seen the LR in the movie "Something's Gotta Give"? They used the beautiful light blues and creams. Just love that room.

Sofa comfort is much more than seat depth. It is support, it is pitch, it is springs, cushioning etc. Depth is just one aspect and I can say for fact a sofa can be very deep..........and a total misery for sitting. It may be okay for a sprawl. Nobody sprawled in the mid century, tv was still in it's infancy. A sofa was 36 inches deep. And many of those re interpreted? Still are. Either way, there will be NO Sven look anywhere at that seat depth. It doesn't really work with the style. Perhaps save tufting for the chairs...........multiple length and 46" depth with 108 length below, Arhaus. Comes as small as "petite, 72 " same depth. I hope your purchase is smoother than mine. We ordered the Douglas Lace (white) and it arrived dirty and some of the legs were chipped. They left the couch with us and ordered another. When same delivery crew arrived two weeks ago with replacement, the guy checked it in the truck and it was stained, too. C&B at local store encouraging me to choose another color. Delivery guy said all of the white furniture they deliver is dirty before leaving warehouse. Ironically, store just changed their Axis floor model to Ice, but I truly prefer the white. I've always wanted a white couch. It is well made and incredibly comfortable. The issues seem to occur prior to arrival at customer's home. Has anyone else had this problem with Lace or is it just me? Hubby is says just choose another color, LOL, but knows this is my dream couch. Our kids are in college and I feel like I deserve this after 20 years of non stop cleaning.

Thanks As an update to my post below Here are photos of the food tests I dropped Coffee Milk Oil Ketchup Tomato sauce Raspberry jam Onto Taft and Douglas Douglas wiped up zero problem and beaded The Taft absorbed into the threads bc the weave is so wide but there is a backing and barely anything went through to the actual card which would be your cushion in real life Most came out of both fabrics with dabs of Dawn . It was somewhat more noticeable on the Taft but not too bad . I also tested on Taft cement just to see actual residue bc ink color hides it all anyway and it did mostly come up On the Taft tomato sauce was still sorta there On the both oil was the worst offender I did also spray squares with scotchgard and vectra Honestly neither did much difference The liquids still bled into Taft maybe just a little slower but nothing you’d be able to catch in real life with a live action spill The cleaning up was a little easier But they both made all the fabrics a hue darker or dingy I mentioned to the sales woman at crate and barrel and she said do not whatsoever put the protectants on that over time they where off and you’ll continually be reapplying and they will change the fabric and that both Douglas and ink are made to be spot cleaned or steam cleaned and most anything will dab out of them. Her suggestion for tough stain was to clean from the underside and press from too and bottom of the stain.
