powered vent keeps cycling when no heat is called

Hello,
I have an old 1996 Lennox furnace with powered vent. Couple months ago the power vent kept cycling on and off when the system is in cooling mode. I think the delay relay is faulty (model CK-43FK), but it kind of expensive to replace. There are cheaper delay relays on the market, can anyone comment if replacing with a generic relay with delay is is a good idea? What is the typical delay time?
Thank you.
