How to cover a daybed so it looks more like a couch than a bed

last modified: last month

I recently got this daybed ( that I intend to use primarily as a sofa and occasionally for guest sleeping. I got a twin size mattress to use with it but there's a little space in the top frame and I don't want to hide the headrest by throwing large pillows on there (it looks really pretty). Is there a different mattress to use or any other fix that could be done here? I also want to cover the daybed to look more like a couch than a bed, is there such a thing as tufted sheets or at sheets that would look like a sofa. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
