New furnace can't keep up
Comments (4)The new furnace is 20K BTU less heat output. Efficiency ratings ... 80% old vs. 96% new ... has no bearing on the heat output, right? The new one is still 70K and the old one was 90K. That being said, 68ðF indoors when outside is -20ðF doesn't seem bad to me. That's an 88ðF increase between outside and in. What indoor temp did the installer target when he calculated the capacity?...See MoreCall your credit card company
Comments (5)I just recently tried, I didn't make any threats. Was told no at this time but "seeing how you are a valued customer we would like to give you an increase on your credit line" The increase was not what I wanted, I use my card very little so the amount available is no biggy to me Sounds like I need to try it this way next time! Comments (6)bruins47, I had Diamond cabinets installed last year, shaker-style in Cherry with slab drawers. All plywood construction, doors and drawers are solid cherry. I have a total of 18 boxes, including a tall pantry with slide-out shelves, and side panels around my refrigerator. I did not purchase from Lowe's, but from another local supplier. I hired my own installer. All of the cabinets arrived in good order with no damage. I was actually really pleased with them when I opened the boxes! No issues with the finish or construction. There was an issue with the light rail in that one of the exposed surfaces was not finished, but Diamond replaced those pieces immediately and quickly. One drawer did not glide like it should, and a new glide was sent right away. I think this is where a smaller, independent dealer has an advantage over Home Depot and Lowes ... my request for replacement parts was not lost in the shuffle and my supplier got them to me fast. Those were my only issues ... minor and resolved quickly. I had ordered a bathroom cabinet (not Diamond) from Lowe's a few years back and the experience wasn't a pleasant one, so shopped elsewhere. Good luck with your purchase!...See MoreDONE with David Austin Roses
Comments (47)Not meeting expectations couid be many things such as mature enough, having enough thick canes, growing in the right direction, & more. Being DA may be possibly the most popular roses on the market-that would be an amazing task to estimate supply & demand & switch the way they grow them frequently to own-root, which take longer to grow, & still meet the entire US demand! I have been in marketing & sales for many years and we had a rule of thumb, ”no matter how you stock-up and think you have it all for future customers… they always surprise you & want whatever you just ran out of, Lol” No one can truly perfectly predict the future. It is an interesting field! I worked for a world wide very popular company, too. I have a lot of patience and loving support for David Austin Roses! I know they will find ways to bless their customers in the future. I feel blessed now to even enjoy the roses I have been able to purchase from them. My DA gratitude list-my roses::Beautiful Emily Bronte, new Silas Marner-what a priviledge, Munstead Wood-how magnificent, Anne Bolyen, Q Elizabeth, P Alexandra of Kent, Roald Dahl, E Vye, Bathsheba, Darcy Bussell, Mary Rose, Heritage, & more!!! I have 15 DA. What a gratitude list! And I know many others have these roses & more!!! They are gorgeous! Thank you! And I hope those who had order challenges find peace and joy in this beautiful spring! With our beautiful sun coming out for us more and more days and blooming season for many of us taking off! It may be a time to make the best of what we have and try to enjoy this heavenly time of year! See you on the Spring thread w/ your beautiful spring blooms! Take in the fresh air in your gardens, maybe you have a perfumed rose or flower to enjoy? Birds are singing! Mothers are givibg birth to baby animals! Enjoy a spring dinner? Oh, what a wonderful time of year! , Best Wishes & Happy Gardening! 🥀🌺🌷🌹🌸🌺🥀...See Morecarolb_w_fl_coastal_9b
