Can this marble be fixed?

ktj459
last year

We just moved into a new home that has a beautiful marble island. I don't know if the previous owner didn’t seal it or just didn’t care about how the surface was impacted, but it is full of water rings from glasses, water spots, and general etching. Is there a way to fix this short of having a stone company come in a sand the surface down before sealing well? It

makes what should be a really beautoful focus into a mess that always looks dirty or marred. I’ve attached pictures, though it is hard to capture in photographs. I had soapstone in my last house, so I get the whole ”living surface” and patina of these stones, but the water and glass rings in particular bother me. I’m just showing a few here, but it is literally covered with them. Any suggestions?
