That's fun! I saw one decorated for fall/harvest on one of the Australian Shepherd FB pages I follow. She took a picture of her Aussie looking longingly at it, and wondered what would be the first thing destroyed...

The first time I ever heard of one, was in an Axl Rose interview. He had one with gifts under it. Kids would come by trick or treating, he'd invite them in to pick out a gift from under the tree. Bret Michaels also had one.

One club we belong to has one set up all year. It is decorated for the season or holiday. I get DIY crafts popping on my Facebook feed. Several were on Halloween trees.

I have seen them. I’ve also seen table top trees like these for times like Halloween and Easter. I don’t have any but they would be a better fit for me. I‘m only up to dealing with a large tree and ornaments once a year. However, whatever works for anyone is good!

I went to my orthopedist’s new office today. I asked the receptionist where the restroom was - she said down the hall, turn right, and it’s just left of the skeleton dressed like a pumpkin.

I bought a ceramic Halloween tree for my aunt, then ordered one for myself. It looks similar to this one:

Retailers have been trying to get us on this band wagon for some time. Can't say they appeal to me. If I were ever going to go that far into decorating for halloween it would be a tree more like a full sized version

of the table top chloebud posted. That makes a ton more sense to me. But I do have this little guy.

I don't have a Halloween tree, but I do use orange and purple lights. Have a string of orange lights on the kitchen windowsill and purple in a clear glass vase. Also have orange lights around both front doors.

We have 3 ceramic Halloween Trees, all done by a local ceramic talent. One we can extend through Thanksgiving. My husband loves Candy Corn so the middle tree I bought for him.

I've seen those around for quite a few years. I think they are fun and cute. I kind of like the idea of mish mashing holidays but I save the tree for Christmas. For my decorating I go full on Halloween, no nods to any other holiday. Same for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Full immersion in THAT holiday. But I still like seeing a crossover in other peoples decorations.

Halloween has become a much bigger deal than years ago. My mom managed a gift shop after she retired. The sales for Halloween were right up there with Christmas. When I was a kid all we had was a pumpkin outside the door. I do enjoy seeing what people do these days.

I don’t have a tree but I’ve put this witch from HomeGoods out for several years now. She’s still one of my favorites. The little silver pumpkin’s also a HomeGoods find.

I bought 2 tabletop ceramic trees from Micheals last year I saw them on clearance This weeks Aldi ad has similar trees. We do a small lighted house Halloween village too

Sounds like something my daughter (48) would like. In fact I bet she has one, She loves Halloween.

I have a large ceramic pumpkin that has a light bulb inside. Have had it for many years, in fact the "lid" broke finally so I use a couple of the bigger pieces on top of a green Majorca plate as a lid. ha It's been my tradition to put it in the window on a stand beginning Oct. 1st. and not take it down until after Halloween - stays lit all night.

Then I decorate the mailbox cover, but usually try to wait until the third week of Oct. IF I can. A bit of fuss, but I enjoy it.

And this year I replaced the light bulb in my porch light with a purple bulb! Last night I turned it on for the first time - very eerie. Shines more of a violet color.

I've made Halloween trees before. Take a couple of limbs with no leaves, spray paint them black and put them in a big pot. Then hang whatever you want on them. I like to add spiders and skeletons and eyeballs and whatever else works.
