Stacy, I have the Akurum line which had the split top drawer standard. It can be done by mounting a divider to attach the rails to. That is how I do the individual trash pullouts under the sink (see the under sink photo I posted earlier) . I dont necessarily think split drawers are an advantage because you lose about 3 1/2” storage. I like the off-white Bodbyn. It’s not yellow in my kitchen which does have warm lighting @ 3000K and lots of wood which causes it to photograph with a yellowish cast. Look back at my daughter’s kitchen to see how the Bodbyn looks next to bright white subway tile. She has warm lighting too. Also, Ikea has a new door, Akstad that is bright white. Hope you find something you like.

Thanks everyone. I looked at pictures in reviews on Amazon last night of the apron Vault and it looks SO huge, I don’t want to walk in and only see sink. Nice in theory but not for me. I don’t know anyone with a workstation sink-again maybe one of those nice in theory ideas, and not all it’s cracked up to be. Big 30-36” plain old stainless drop in sounds more like the way to go I guess. Easy enough. Elaine, I am of the hodgepodge style, ha! liking certain things from certain styles.

I installed a Kraus Kraus KHT410-33 Standart Pro sink earlier this summer. (late June) Be aware that this^^ is an 18 gauge sink. I thought it was 16 gauge when I bought it (and was advertised as 16 gauge). Discovered that it was 18 gauge after I ordered it and before it was delivered. So I was fully prepared to send it back. Long story short--it is a great sink. Solid, well made, arrived in flawless condition (great packaging.) So, we went ahead & installed it and I have been really, really happy with it ever since. I, too, had felt that 16 gauge was a must but have changed my mind about that, least ways with the particular sink that I bought.

@K R your kitchen is beautiful, and I really like the look of that sink. Thank you for sharing the photos. I'm glad to hear you're happy with it. @Miranda33 That Elkay is also an attractive sink. Thank you for the info about those models. I won't have a garbage disposal, so I guess I will need the drain. I don't think the Kraus looks clunky--I like the way it looks. I was concerned about the distance between me and the sink basin when I'm standing in front of it. Right now I have an undermount, and the strip of countertop is uncomfortable and means I have to lean over, but I think that's partly because of the extra height the stone counter adds, not only the width.
