What size floor tiles should I use: 24x 24 or 12 x 24 or hardwood?

In this room should I tile or hardwood? If I tile this is the tile I plan to use white porcelain with light gray veining. If I tile I do t know whether to use 24 x 24 sized tile or 12 x 24 sized tile. Please help.
