Black or Chrome kitchen faucet?

Pam Muth

My sister is in the midst of a major kitchen remodel and accidentally purchased both a black and a chrome faucet. At the moment the black faucet has been installed at the main sink and the chrome one is at the sink on the island. She has white cabinets throughout the kitchen although the island cabinetry is blue. She is having trouble deciding whether to have both faucets black, chrome, or keep them as they are not matching. Someone had suggested to her that she leave them as they are but use black knobs and pulls on the white cabinetry to match the black faucet and chrome hardware on the blue island to match the chrome faucet. Any suggestions?
