bostonpam--GOOD POINT! And to all: Thank You. It will depend on my final design--lookwise. If I do the Super White and get the swirly one that looks like marble, I think I want to go with the chrome. And I'm so glad bostonpam said that about tapmaster too--I was thinking of getting the Delta Trinsic, touch faucet. Whew! Chrome plus touch? OMG, that's got to be a recipe for disaster. I'm sure I would have caught that mistake somewhere before ordering. Well, I hope I would have...or am I losing my mind completely? The polished nickel sounds like a nightmare--polishing it? Really? Yikes. I currently have a Danze in stainless steel, it shows nothing. In fact I have to remember to clean it! Thanks again for the feedback. I'm going to start looking at chrome now. And Tapmaster sales!

Okay, my faucet is in and I've been using it for about 2 weeks. I polished it with Flitz was as was recommended by Rohle before we used it for the first time. It has been a pleasure to keep clean! I just wipe it down with a micro fiber cloth after I use it just like I did with my old chrome faucet and I haven't had any tarnishing or finger prints at all. I'm so happy I went with the pn, it looks beautiful!

I don't have black faucets, but did purchase black (not ORB) door knobs/locksets from Baldwin. They have a lifetime "guarantee." Unfortunately, after three years, the finish is beginning to wear away on the edges from our constant touching. Now, some people might call it patina, but it sort of bothers me. The coppery brass is showing through and now looks more like ORB than pure black like I wanted. I would think with water and constant handling, the patina that develops might happen quicker and more widespread.

AGGGHHHHH!!!!! When the heck did polished brass become "gold"? This drives me CRAZY. I have lived through true "gold faucets" - typically in bathrooms and typically VERY expensive from Sherle Wagner. They were 24kt gold plated and often featured swans as faucets for vanities and tubs. VERY OTT! I would not use polished brass with polished chrome as the chrome is so cold looking. What does work is polished or brushed nickel faucets with polished brass pulls. That is what I have in my own kitchen.
