Caesarstone Empira White experience

We are in the middle of a build, and for our kitchen benchtop we picked Caesarstone Empira white which we have been so excited about. We have signed off with our joiner already and we cant change anything, we are just waitung for a site measure and installation.

For some reason I thought of looking at some reviews of the empira white, and i am horrified at some of them! Now i’m panicking. it was definately a splurge, and now im just hoping for the best.

Does anyone have any experience with Empira White? does it stain easily, chip easily? how is it holding up for you? Or has it been a nightmare? please let me know 😊

when you picked this, did you not visit the showroom to view a full slab? or go online to see how it looked in pictures?

If the slab hasn't been bought and fabricated, is it not possible to ask for a replacement of equal or higher value? this way the builder isn't losing anything

Hi Beth! thank you! we did not have a look at the slab in person, we saw samples of it and we were happy with what we saw online. It does look gorgeous, but im looking for others experiences with using it day to day. Like is it easy to clean? does it stain easily? or does it chip easily? this has been mentioned in some of the reviews i’ve seen.

Our flooring will be white tiles to go with the white of the Empira White.

The matte finish can be a little harder to look after and can fingerprint more. Though having said that if you use the right cleaning products and NOT necessary the ones that Caesarstone recommend - Please check that they products DO NOT VOID their own warranty... you will not have an issue. We know that our products will make the matte finishes NOT FINGERPRINT on any brand or color

quartz does chip more frequently than say a granite or quartzite. I have silestone quartz and have chipped it twice w/my iron skillet. my fault. always on the edge. you just have to be careful. (if you do chip it, save the chipped piece and they can repair it to where you can't even see it)

it doesn't stain. easy to clean. I'm sure caesarstone is the same. don't place hot pots directly on the surface. other than that, it's fine.
