I don't think it's going to work. But different people like different things, and everyone's lighting is different, so the best way to tell is to sample. If you're not already familiar with Samplize.com, they sell peel and stick samples so you can move them from wall to wall.

can't answer that because we have no idea what the lighting in your bathroom (?) looks like. I assume it's a bathroom since you said floor?

This is carrara marble on my bathroom floors. do you think that tone would work?

Carrara is a very cool colored marble. blueish whites and grays. anything beige or taupe isn't going to compliment it.

can you not paint the walls to suit the marble?

Thanks. Right now we have a blank slate- walls are covered with primer, canned lighting can go cool or warm. We were planning on travertine colored tile and warm walls. All of a sudden, we just decided to go with a Carrara look. So I’m having to make a quick change (like today) to the wall color since the painters want to start later this week. Our downstairs is warm and I’m planning on warm colored carpet so I’m hoping to find a paint that can go either way

This is not the psychic hotline. And without pics of the space, and any relevant adjoining space(s), no one can really give you adequate feedback - even under the best of conditions (which this crowd sourcing/design by committee situation here - is not).

So all I can tell you is: you do not necessarily have to match your bathroom to the the rest of your house. If you have a predominance of warm tones elsewhere - bring some wood accents into the bathroom - maybe some wood shelving, and/or wood vanity; or alternatively, use gold/brass hardware, fixtures, lighting. You could also bring in warm colors in towels, etc. As far as the bathroom paint color - try BM Ballet White.
