I like the idea of adding an Arbor over the 2 car garage, and then it looks like a 3rd off to the right. This would be one of the least expensive options, but adds so much style, fills the space and add a little craftsmanship to the home.

@thinkdesignlive - thank you for your comments, to limit the cost we were thinking to live the garage doors and insulate on the inside only so it will limit the brick work. I really like your suggestion for the door (yes it will be on the yard for sure), it will make more sense as I cannot have only 2 bifolding doors. This is what I thought that I should contact @derdeb1234 - yes the budget is limit and we are not handy but we could increase to 10k. @tartanmeup - yes it is in GBP. @njmomma - Yes I will try to update the work. I still need to empty the garage, get rid of the spiders and insects, etc...

Although you have a lot of natural light during the day, you need to plan for good kitchen lighting at night. I would put recessed lights in at least the kitchen area, along all the outer areas the the island. Skip island pendents due to your beams, and just use a hanging fixture over your dining table. You can have more ambient light in the living area, with wall sconces built into the storage areas. Add a floor plug so you can have a floor lamp next to the sofa. I don't understand the kitchen at all. Your sink only has one open side, so you're putting dirty and clean dishes in the same place? And the dishwasher seems like it's in the island with the stove? Move the stove to the outer wall so you can have a regular vent, and put the sink in the middle of the island so it's usable. Put the refrigerator on one of the ends of the cabinet run where it's better accessible.

I went from thinking "that's interesting" to "I kind of like this" to " well that isn't that odd" to "oh that doesn't look good" to entering the 3D tour and arriving at "I hate this". It really looks better in the 2D photos. In the 3D tour you see lots of rough, unfinished details, shortcuts that look haphazard, and things that are simply not successful (the entire kitchen has a finish quality that looks more squatter than artistic). I still do like the long run of skylights over the dining room. That's truly interesting. And sorry, the antlers and heavy speakers perched on the joists are just earthquake hazards.
