I mixed fresh sawdust with the soil and planted, how to fix this

I dug some holes and filled them with kitchen scraps (decomposing for 1 month) mixed with fresh sawdust and soil, and planted some acid loving plants in there but just researched this and see I made a mistake because sawdust supposedly takes over a year to decompose enough that it functions as a fertilizer. Fresh sawdust supposedly leeches nitrogen and prevents plants from growing. So I made a terrible mistake by not researching this beforehand.
So I need a way to remediate this. I would prefer not to have to dig the plants up, remove the soil and start over. Is there anything else I can do, like add highly nitrogenous fertilizer to the soil?
