Exterior Paint
We are getting ready to repaint. I need to paint the trim (gutters) and maybe the posts on the front porch a complementary color as well. I was originally thinking maybe SW Iron Ore or BM Kendall Charcoal with Alabaster but also considering a totally different look with something like Intellectual or Dorian Grey with a warmer trim. Ideas or thoughts?

Comments (3)Thanks for the Cottage Red suggestion Houssaon. I might want to go a bit more bright/true red, but that is a really good muted option. As far as Edgecomb Gray trim, the windows, soffit, eaves and railings are stark white, so I was leaning towards a fairly white trim to blend better....See More- PRO

last yearlast modified: last yearVery nice house, just needs some trim to make the colour stand out. Any of the colours you have in mind are nice (if in good condition the existing one is also nice), here's my suggestion as to how to go about it. I would install large black sconces at the front door and both garage doors as well as street numbers (perhaps you have some but can't see any in your picture). These accessories also make the house stand out. As to the railing in the back, for a contrast colour I would do that section in black and do some landscaping along the deck.
